Rochester, NY May 26, 2010 – eHealth Global Technologies, Inc. (eHGT) announced today that the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), Seattle, WA, has successfully implemented eHGT’s eHealth Access™ Record Retrieval Service.
This service speeds the ability to see new patients for cancer centers such as the SCCA. Using eHGT’s customizable online request system, SCCA staff can simply and securely request outside records for their referred-in patients. eHGT then goes to work and retrieves all requested records, regardless of format or location, and securely delivers them in a standard digital format. What took weeks now takes hours or days, and relieves patients of this stressful burden.
eHealth Access has been shown to meet the turn-around, patient care, and efficiency needs of the SCCA. eHGT retrieves the required records, images and pathology slides for SCCA patients, along with acquiring any needed patient consents for the retrieval process.
