Rochester, NY October 26, 2009 – eHealth Global Technologies, Inc. (eHGT), a leading medical records and imaging services provider, announced the formalization of an agreement with Axolotl Corp., the nationwide leader in health information exchange (HIE) solutions and services, to provide image sharing technology based on eHealthConnect® Diagnostic Image Exchange, to Axolotl customers. In conjunction with this agreement, Axolotl has announced the immediate availability of Elysium Image Exchange, a state-of-the-art technology integrated with Axolotl’s Elysium Exchange suite of products.  Powered by eHGT, this new offering enables the electronic sharing of diagnostic quality medical images between health care providers participating in an HIE.

Six Major Radiology Centers Provide Diagnostic Images to Rochester RHIO


Rochester, N.Y September 10, 2009 – Physicians are now able to see radiology images—including X-rays, MRI, CT scans and Ultrasound—from six radiology centers in the Greater Rochester area through Rochester RHIO, the community’s regional health information organization.

 

Borg & Ide Imaging, Clifton Springs Hospital, Rochester General Health System, Rochester Diagnostic Imaging, Rochester Radiology Associates, and Thompson Health join Lakeside Memorial Hospital in providing radiology images to the RHIO.

 

Rochester RHIO allows authorized users to see patient information, including radiology images, at any time from any computer with a secure internet connection. Electronically viewing diagnostic images benefits doctors and patients:

  • Easy comparison of current and past diagnostic tests between organizations with a common viewing environment

Rochester RHIO Goes Live with eHealthConnect Image Exchange to Automate Community-Wide Access of Radiology Studies


ROCHESTER, N.Y., March 12, 2009 — eHealth Global Technologies (eHGT) announced today that Rochester RHIO, the area’s regional health information organization, implemented the company’s eHealthConnect® Image Exchange service to automate access to patient images across the participating healthcare institutions. The service integrates with Rochester RHIO’s Axolotl Corp.’s Elysium® health information exchange (HIE) system and connects to the PACS imaging services at eight radiology providers. Lakeside Memorial Hospital is the first health provider integrated into the eHealthConnect Image Exchange.
