Gary Larson Joins eHealth Global Technologies to Oversee Continued Development of HIE and Imaging Exchange Services


CHICAGO, IL and ROCHESTER, NY, April 6, 2009 — eHealth Global Technologies announced today at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society that Gary D. Larson has joined the organization as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager, Health Information Exchange Services. The announcement follows the successful deployment of the company’s eHealthConnect Image Exchange at the Greater Rochester RHIO.

As a leader in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, Mr. Larson has a diverse executive management experience in healthcare imaging and information technologies. Most recently, he was  Senior Vice President at Misys Healthcare Systems, where he presided over their Homecare Business. Prior to that he held several key executive management positions with Eastman Kodak’s Health Imaging and Healthcare IT businesses, including leading Kodak’s participation in England’s National Programme for IT Connecting for Health initiative from 2004 through 2006.

Mr. Larson began his career at 3M Medical Imaging Systems and helped the company develop its DryView Laser Imaging System product line. After 3M spun off the Imation business, he championed and presided over a new organization within Cemax-Icon, an acquired subsidiary of Imation. After a short role as Vice President, Product Commercialization, he was named President and Chief Executive Officer until Cemax-Icon was acquired by Eastman Kodak Health Imaging.

Mr. Larson holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
