eHealth Global Technologies Showcases Electronic Medical Records Management Services to AACI Attendees
October 28, 2007
WASHINGTON, D.C., October 28, 2007 - Today at the annual meeting of the Association of American Cancer Institutes Annual Meeting, eHealth Global Technologies presented eHealthConnect™, eHealthLoader™ and eHealthShare™ medical record management services to attendees in the company's booth. eHealth Global's services are centered around the collection, digitization and access to medical records and Images on behalf of tertiary care facilities and specialty clinics with large referral volumes such as cancer institutes.
eHealthConnect provides medical records and imaging study collection by eHealth Global's clinical customer support team. These records and images are then digitized and made accessible over eHealth Global's secure, Internet-based viewing system or directly into the facilities EMR or PACS.
eHealthShare facilitates the sharing of patient data back to the referring physicians, resulting in quick turn-around, no lost files and overall better patient care.
eHealthLoader is a service that provides a simple process for organizations to take Radiology film libraries and folders of paper medical records, and move them into their PACS and/or EMR. Through the use of DICOM and/or HL7, eHealth Global will take the paper and film based records, digitize, and send them into the facility's internal system over a secure connection.
"Cancer institutes require quick, seamless access to patient history, including lab results, pathology, diagnostic images and prior treatment to successfully combat the patient's disease," said Ken Rosenfeld, President of eHealth Global. "Without this information, patient care can be delayed or compromised. eHealthConnect collects, digitizes and secures medical records for efficient online viewing throughout a cancer center, regardless of the department or location." |
