eHealth Global Technologies Reports Financial Results for Q2 2008, Demonstrating a Continued Path of Impressive Growth
ROCHESTER, N.Y., August 19, 2008 — eHealth Global Technologies announced today 2nd quarter 2008 financial results that show continued sales and revenue growth with double and triple-digit percent increases. The privately-held company reports revenue growth as follows:
- 48% increase in revenue for 2nd quarter 2008 compared to 1st quarter 2008
- 1,112% increase in revenue for 2nd quarter 2008 compared to same quarter in 2007
In addition, eHealth Global announced that it signed seven new healthcare departments in the 2nd quarter of 2008. In addition to the large number of Transplant department customers, the company reports that its eHealthConnect service is now being utilized in Oncology and other clinical departments. Another key 2nd quarter highlight is eHealth Global’s Rochester RHIO contract and the implementation of an Image Exchange Service to the RHIO. The eHealthConnect Image Exchange service is the first of its kind to provide diagnostic medical image sharing across a community easily, simply, and affordably.
“We are pleased with our growth in the second quarter, which has demonstrated further the usefulness of our eHealthConnect outside record retrieval and e-delivery service in a variety of clinical departments,” stated Michael Margiotta, CEO. “The Rochester RHIO image exchange project represents a tremendous advancement in the utilization of our services, and we are seeing more interest and opportunities from this critical aspect of healthcare information sharing,” Margiotta added. |
