eHealth Global Technologies Inks New Contracts
August 10, 2007
ROCHESTER, N.Y., August 10, 2007 -eHealth Global Technologies, Inc. today announced that it has signed contracts with the University of Virginia Health System, The Nebraska Medical Center and Albert Einstein Health Network to provide its eHealthConnect™ service to departments within the Facility or Health System. University of Virginia Health Systems' Lung, Kidney, Heart and Liver transplant departments have contracted to use the service as well as the Kidney Transplant units at The Nebraska Medical Center and Albert Einstein Health Network. eHealthConnect™ provides medical records and imaging study collection by eHealth Global's clinical customer support team. These records and images are then digitized and made accessible over eHealth Global's secure, internet-based viewing system.
Transplant programs have a critical need to gather prior patient pathology, lab and radiology reports and images to support the process for a patient's organ transplantation listing.
"Every transplant department we approach has verified the need for our eHealthConnect™ service. By assisting University of Virginia and The Nebraska Medical Center transplant departments in patient medical record collection, we are helping them improve the care of their patients while saving the department money," stated Tim Fischer, Director of Sales for eHealth Global. |
